The Weald Tennis and Squash Racquets Club is situated beneath the beautiful South Downs National Park and within easy walking distance of Hassocks mainline railway station. The Club has 10 tennis courts including 4 floodlit, artificial clay courts and is currently the only club in Sussex to have all four running parallel to each other. The six hard courts are also floodlit. In addition we also have 4 new mini courts.

We welcome and cater for tennis players of all abilities including new players, rusty rackets, social, competitive and performance players.

The coaching team runs squads for all ages and abilities as well as value for money one-to-one lessons.

There is a great social tennis scene with organised doubles on Monday and Wednesday mornings in addition to Club sessions on Tuesday evenings from 6.30 and Saturday afternoons from 2.00. So please do come down and have a hit with existing members. We have box leagues for juniors and seniors as well as having 6 Men’s teams and 5 Ladies’ teams ranging from division 12 to currently Sussex Div 1 Club League for the Men’s 1st Team. Team training on a Thursday evening offers match tactics and competitive match play.
